Or some multi-billion dollar corporation is going to launch another "Twitch killer" and has signed up a few high profile people for $20mill a pop.

This is like the 2nd or 3rd time she has done this. It's just to draw attention. She probably wasn't offered a new contract since Twitch got rid of them and isn't giving them out anymore.

MST3k pulls in more viewers on Youtube than on Twitch;

Twitch stream has been running longer however the twitch chat feed is more active.
Make of it what you will.

Chat experience on YouTube sucks is part of the reason I suspect. YouTube has a wider audience

As the the Poki thing, it’s just a bargaining ploy. Asmon has been doing something similar - he only streams on his unpartnered account ( which has no ads), which costs Twitch a lot in lost ad revenue. Asmon just uses YouTube videos of his Twitch streams to supplement that income on his side. He’s admitted he is doing it because he is a “petty bitch” lol

woulda guessed kick, they are a big online gambling and bitcoin backed "site" (the way the mafia used to run casinos) and they will happily toss someone like pokimane a big $50m contract because her loser incel viewers will spend $300m gambling "with her"

but nah seems to be youtube after all

i don't think i've watched a single live stream in a few months now, and i used to keep that shit running when i was doing something else all the time. the ads just got too bad on twitch. Its interesting from the pic above though how the next generation of young streamers (like crazy young) seems to be getting big. everyone on the twitch side seems like a literal child

I haven’t heard of any of those Twitch people in that thumbnail. I think I heard that Vtuber mentioned once somewhere, but no clue what their schtick is

Same, used to have it on all the time in the background, ads and woke killed it. Also many streamers I used to follow cut down a lot on their streaming over the years

She previously said she would never compromise her morals to move to Kick (lol), which is why I guessed Youtube.

lot of people are streaming simultaneously on youtube now. I actually hate it, because then their 5-8 hour stream vods clutter up my subscription feed when I would rather it show only their actual videos.

Shorts and now twitch vods. Please let me choose what shows up on my subscription feed!

if you use uBlock Origin, add this to your filters in the Dashboard and it'll completely hide shorts.

They are all basically OTV and friends. The Vtuber Fillian is a newer pretty popular one. She's a spaz and not really one I watch though. I mainly know her because of the Vtuber award thing not too long ago.

pretty sure he's said that his youtube income massively eclipses twitch, even when he does stream on main channel

The smart streamers create separate vod channel so that doesn't happen. Sadly a lot of them aren't smart enough to do it.

Creating a separate channel is overkill. It's like putting your porn on its own hard drive. Wait...

Anyway, proper tagging fixes this shit. It should be automatable 95% of the time.
