The crazies of the vtuber fanbase are fucking off the rails. Like female vtubers get shit just for collabs with guys. I think the Hololive peeps definitely have stuff in their contracts about who they can collab/interact and even what games they are allowed to play.

I don't actively watch vtuber streams. Most of the stuff I see is clips and shit. However some of these vtubers are way more entertaining than 99% of the thots in Just Chatting. The only reason I even started watching them was because of Ash, who isn't your normal vtuber, back in the Rust days then Codemiko.

This is one opinion I differ from the forum at large on, and honestly it's probably simply due to experience. Tiktok honestly has a really fucking good algorithm. I'm sure there is tons of insanely ridiculous shit on their, but it doesn't pop up for me. I get a ton of comedians, creative stuff (art, diy home stuff, etc), cat videos, and motivational type content.

If you're getting bad content, why does the algorithm think you like it? idk

I'll give you social media as a whole is super bad for society. I just feel like tiktok actually creates some pretty neat communities.
