We have a great content team putting in adventuring quests, diplomacy quests, and performing spawn clean ups daily. I know Isle of Dawn has its quests built in both of those spheres. The content team has been working on all the starter areas as well and new stuff is implemented daily. Xinux recently built the framework to add npc casting/ability usage. The big hold up here is the class abilities and thats mainly on me. I just haven't had enough time to finish everything I need to finish, but the bard song system is very close to being usable (not committed yet) but it will be on New Telon by this weekend hopefully (time permitting).

Yeah dude once this is up and running Ill dive in and probably level another DK up to max again. You always made Sorcs look good soloing insane stuff but I loved being able to solo group content with good gear as a DK.

It was fun pushing the limits for sure, too bad every sorc went and farmed beetles in KDQ after I showed someone my spot. I'd be down to play, not sure if I'd still do sorc though. Maybe Psionicist.

Get those gnome diplo starter quests in, I want to relive terminator 2 in Telon again.

We do have a guy rebuilding Mekalia. He has been creating npcs and placing them to try and bring that city back to life. I think we have some data on the quests that existed there as well.

You joined us like 1 year too late, you would have loved VG I can tell you 100%. Plus Dakim was really wild back then, he used to freak people the fuck out back then.

As soon as dungeons/quests are in at all I would be definitely into messing around a bit. If nothing else gives me a bit of time to actually figure out a new game before they're able to properly release. I played a Disciple (I think?) for like two weeks before live servers went dark, does that turn out to be a powerful class? I liked the monk/self healing aspect.

Yes disciple is powerful later on. They can pseudo tank due to self healing and solo quite a bite. Can handle healing in a group on their own with even a not so great tank. If they’re in a group with another healer no one ever dies. They were also pretty engaging due to doing certain skills in certain orders triggers group buff profs and group heals. Other classes in VG, like bars were cool but you just clicked three ability macros over and over, wasn’t very engaging.

Disc is my favorite class I’ve ever played in a mmo, and I was never a healer or monk type player.

Crazy that rangers could solo as well. I know besides Caspin on his Sorc which he did insane things I remember Necros also solo'd some named well. DK's were gods, able to solo anything outside of raids easily like Hegnarian event or our class armor BP mobs etc.

had a max rank necro and ranger, wouldn't mind going through the content with some people who know there shit. My highlight was completing that really long quest chain in that dessert area that resulted in you killing some demon to get a sword that had animated lightning dancing over it. My attempt at recreating earthcaller.

did ya'll ever check to see whether Curse still has their database of vanguard items? It was player submitted so the drop rates aren't right, but it at least said which mobs dropped which heroics. I know there were more recent databases but they were more focused on end-game content. Curse iirc was the most complete in terms of mid and low level heroics. zewtastic/vanguardsohguilds.com had some mid/lower level drops but not as complete. There's a good chance Curse has long since deleted that database, but there's a chance...
