Does it need to be an actual account with a phone tied to it and shit or? Cause I have a FB account I've never used for anything but raffles and other stupid shit that required a FB account and that's kinda whatever. I mean you can just make a new xXxVRporn69xXx account for your headset and not tie it to anything else, with a throw away email account for registration and that'd be mostly fine?

I deleted my FB and refuse to create another. The amount of horseshit I had to go through just to delete my account was insane. There was no way to delete it, only hide it (Maybe that's changed now?). I had to go back and forth with customer service for a solid month before they conceded to delete it, mainly because if I used any service that had a "login using Facebook" option in my browser from saved logins it would cancel the delete process which for some reason took a month to complete. They can eat a bag of dicks.

God even with the Facebook requirement (might use wife's account) I tempted by this.
$299 to be able to play untethered without any dumb camera setup. I only have a PSVR atm too of course and it's just a pain to set up + the tracking sucks a dick.
Also looks like you can use this wirelessly streaming from your computer instead of using the link and it's actually better quality if you have a good router.
This is where Sony is really falling down, I know they're working on their next gen VR but they've said fucking nothing about it.
Talk me out of it.
