Is that 3D printed terrain?

Where would a good place be to get good 3D printed terrain? Free or for cost.

They have a huge box of tons of painted terrain when I visit these guys idk lol

Okay so they do have a 3D printer, I'll ask if that's how the terran got made for ye.

The one guy did make an entire dark mech list with it due to maximum immersion and GW not producing it (yet?!). We both want a real dark mech faction. Don't get me started.

I broke down and bought a Resin printer yesterday. So I have a filament and resin printer now. I also bought a little over 2000 points worth of Orks. I think I’ll use them to learn how to paint.

I agree. And I’ll do sone things by hand eventually, but for now, I have so much to paint and I want to be fully self sufficient to host games. I don’t want to live by the limitations of a store table.

Went to a LGS and was looking around their clearance section and came across this "sample pack" for $50 and took a chance. This is what was inside.

I’m having a hard time making a decision. I definitely bought way more than I needed, though I would have slogged through it had it not been for one big, slow change: The fazing out of first born.

I have enough to make a pretty formidable Horus Heresy army, including vehicles. I think I want my 40k to be strictly “Primaris” for OCD reasons. My question is this:

Should I sell it off to put towards more 40k space marine drops coming in the next year or so or should I build a completely different chapter within 30k? I could still go Salamanders in 30k.

Ultimately, I would break even if I did. I bought about $1000 worth of Ork, Space Marine and Imperial Knight minis for about $600.

Funny I mention the guy about the good deals. Sends me a message this morning.

I just got a Questoris Knight, 10 Reivers, 10 Infiltrators, a Chaplain and an Apothecary for $170 plus tax shipped.

I finally started. Popping my cherry on some gretchin. Even drilling the barrels.

I’ll have my glued together today. Practicing a little more on the free Intercessor models. Removed purity seals because they will always be first battle cannon fodder.

So this is more of a story since I can't remember where I saw this. It was one of the old warhammer army painting sites. Maybe it was on heresy.

A long time ago maybe 15 or 20yrs ago. I saw this guy making a post about his human army, I think bretonian, that was all somthing like fire mages and living flames.

So this guy was making them himself in clear resin and casting them in a pressure cooker to get bubbles out. So then he was also putting LEDS in them all so all the flames lite up.

It was one of the most amazing armies I've ever seen.

I've seen it again. But man was that cool.

I’m really enjoying the snipping and cleaning process. No gluing, but halfway through clipping and cleaning 15 Nobz. I am trying to individualize the ones with helmets by giving them hollowed out broken horns.
