Also, it's been kind of overlooked with people focusing on Irma hitting Florida, but all those islands that got hit by Irma are about to get butt fucked by Jose tomorrow. I think Barbuda is expecting it in the afternoon.

It may end up being that Jose has a significantly higher fatality rate than Irma.

What's the distance limit for the fujiwhara effect? Jose could creep up Irma.

edit: from what my slow mind can grasp, the Fujiwhara effect is like an ae hurricane. Basically, that is what Sandy was: a hurricane + a Canadian low.

Barbuda is merely evacuating its population, there was a bbc report on it they are literally towing people in barges off the island because of Jose. The top official said he felt the island was in an uninhabitable state due to standing water/disease concerns not to mention the decimated infrastructure. He said 95% building damaged to the extent of missing roofs.
