Uh, cry me a river? That's the job of the postal service: to deliver mail no matter what. If she's pregnant, yeah, she shouldn't be out trudging through several feet of snow so she should get a pass this year. However, a normal, healthy individual who is working as a mail carrier should expect to do that, just as a waiter/waitress should expect to work on super busy days like Mother's Day or Father's Day, and retail workers should expect to work on Black Friday, etc.He does know. The USPS doesn't give a shit about anyone though. A couple years ago we got nearly 3 feet of snow and I had to shovel out the wife's car for THREE hours because they made her come in (and she went).
Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds

It was 76 here yesterday. Walked the dog in t-shirt and shorts. In January.I'd love to get that much snow overnight if I didn't have jack shit to do the next couple days. Shit, Buffalo got wrecked earlier this year, now the east coast is getting beat on. Here I am, in Michigan, having one of the warmest, non-snowy winters I've ever remembered. Man, I have about 1inch of snow outside...at the end of fucking january.
