Your app is broken, for walking it should have read: -90 calories burned, just slightly better than sitting through a LoTR marathon whilst eating jelly doughnuts.
2000 calories burned for 6+ hours of effort is pretty shitty returns. I can go out on a bike ride and burn that in close to 2 hours or jogging.

Well who knows how accurate S Health is, just thought it was hilarious to see a estimate of my final miles hiked. That was over about 1500ft of elevation change.

tl;dr trail(really a wash for a 2-3 mile portion) wasnt very well marked and I missed the turn off point.

I'm okay with people with chronic food addiction just admitting to themselves that they can't handle it. Similiarly, I'm okay with alcoholics abstaining completely. But some of the anti-carb crowd act like swearing off an entire macro group is a healthy choicefor everyoneand that's patently false.
Based on himeos past he could be diabetic as well

I don't think anyone actually believes that sugar isn't bad for you. The problem with idiots like Himeo is they extend that to all carbs, including fruit and veg as foods that should be avoided. Post workout is the optimal time to eat carbs in order to replenish glycogen.
Misrepresent my position into a strawman, attack said strawman. Follow up with Cargo Cult nonsense.

Never change Ossoi.

"All I ate was four packs of bacon a day and I still gain weight!? Barely any carbs!"
Carbs, carbs, carbs. That's not the problem. Read the books I posted and you'll understand.

Or not, I really don't give a shit. I'm not here to convince the skeptics. I'm here to present evidence for those with an open mind and willingness to challenge their preconceived...

Never mind. All of this shit is wasted on you retards. Continue believing in your calorie counting fairy tale. I sure as fuck never counted a single calorie on my way to massive weight loss. But of course, as we all know, our caveman ancestors invented calorie counting. Gotta remember to only eat 5 berries and not 6, amirite?

It's easier for the anti-carb crowd to demonize an entire macronutrient group rather than admit that they are gigantic donut-hoovers.
Just as easy for you to dismiss evidence that contradicts your bullshit. But keep doing what doesn't work, I'm sure you're the problem and not the bullshit advice you're following.

He had the same obsession with red pill so it's not surprising
He had a view I disagreed with in another area, must be full of shit here.

I'm not here to argue with you, just provide evidence that contradicts your bullshit.

Didn't the inventor of Atkins drop dead from issues related to Atkins diet?
He dropped dead by slipping on black ice on a New York sidewalk and cracking his skull. Sucks to be an old man.

What you don't seem to understand Himeo is that you're a zealot who is fanatical about one approach that works and pretending it's the only way to live and eat healthy. The fact of the matter is low carb diets start out with intense carbohydrate restrictions and ease out of it until you're eating a normal, balanced diet filled with good carbs instead of refined, processed garbage carbs.

And you also don't seem to understand that most people in this thread agree that low carb works and is perfectly valid and healthy, when Eidal was talking about "anti-carbs" he wasn't talking about low carb, he was talking about people who come off like you do. Like you can't eat a carb at all because they are a death sentence which is assinine. There is a difference between someone who is a proponent of low carb diets and someone who is completely anti carb.

Himeo: how much do you weigh now, and how tall/muscular are you overall? You're talking about how you shed a lot of lbs under the zero-carb diet or whatever your stance is. Like, are you super ripped or something and not eating any carbs whatsoever or something? Honest question, and an easy one to answer.

Also as a funny anecdotal thing carbs don't really effect me at all. After I graduated college and lived on my own it was pretty common for me to eat Sour Patch Kids for dinner. Obviously sugar and super high in carb. I'd start shedding weight and start looking like a meth addict. Each bag of Kids seemed to equate to about 2 pounds in weight loss (take into account this is when I was ~145 with 6-8% BF so losing any weight really shows in my face.) Unfortunately I got like 6 cavities my next dental check up and I haven't had Sour Patch Kids since.

What DOES seem to effect me is a combination of fat and carbs. Like pizza. If I indulge in some pizza for a few days I can visibly see my stomach lose its definition. Its quite funny. Pizza wrecks me.

Yea well it probably took you 3 months to eat one bag since you hate eating.

The combination of fat and sugar is what many studies have been about with almost all of them showing that eating a healthy, high sugar diet that is low in fat not leading to weight gain as well as eating a healthy, high fat diet that is low in sugar being the same, but when the two are combined overeating happens at startling rates. Whether it's because the combination causes a chemical reaction that bypasses that "full feeling" or if it's because it tastes so good people just don't care how full they are isn't really conclusive from what I understand.

This makes sense from the stand point of not really being able to find any food sources that occur naturally that are both high in fat and sugar and so, from an evolutionary standpoint, humans aren't used to that kind of consumption until it was made prominent by the food industry in the US ~50 years ago.

There have been a few studies about that very thing in this thread.

That is a confusing agreement. But my assumption is just that you filter through and whenever anyone agrees with any part of your spiel, you just congratulate them. No matter how divorced from your rhetoric it is.

Seriously though; how much do you weigh now compared to your height, and how much muscle mass are you carrying around? This concerns your arguments and the validity thereof.

See, this is what I'm talking about. Your assumptions are wrong. You don't understand my position, you don't want to understand.

It's all spelled out clearly in those books I linked, but you're too lazy to read them. Or too much of an intellectual coward to have your beliefs challenged.

Either way, like Santa Claus, my time of the year has come and gone. I've left you gifts of knowledge.

You're welcome. Best of luck this year in your weight loss goals,

John "Himeo" Frum

P.S. I know John Frum is supposed to return on February 15th, but I came early this year just for you.

I've posted enough pics on this thread to validate my opinion on what works. Carb cycling is hands down the best approach for optimal fat loss/muscle building in the shortest amount of time

And yes calorie counting matters, at least when you're approaching 10% body fat and want to get to single digit figures - but I'm guessing you wouldn't know what it's like to be at that level....

I would accept Himeo's proposal if he didn't say his way was the only way. He implies everyone else is a moron.

Enough of me arguing with him though, as long as it worked for him.
