Good catch on my fault memory. He still seems too human when recalling 30 years of memories in the box and the details he knows about the robot characters. Why would they program him for that or never have wiped him?

That's the thing, I don't think he's been programmed. His conciousness has been uploaded into a host and he's trying to get out of the park. That's probably managements secret agenda... but who knows, it's all a mind fuck right now.

This show is so good, 3 for 3 in my opinion. Netflix has spoiled me, I wanna binge the fuck out of this.

Sooo Arnold = the Man in Black or is that too obvious? Previews for next week look promising. Doloris being told about the maze seems to imply Ed Harris reached the same checkpoint? If that's true, how is he Arnold?? So many questions!

I don't think there are any time jumps at all.

Delores remembered her previous encounters with the man in black, remembered previous encounters getting shot. Then she runs away and ends up with William. That puts him in the present.

The maze is an easter egg, most likely made by Arnold. The man in black is searching for it, and so are the rogue hosts.

Seems like a theme that its impossible to work with the creative aspects of humanizing these here robots without falling in love with the idea of creating the 'aware' being. I wonder if Hoppy was just playing like he was into the park/machine are machines side of things or if he's really just not into making dat AI?

Maze - Interestingly the director mentions to Jeffrey Wright that while he enjoys silences the Hosts never shut up. Wright explains it's so that they can practice with each other and learn to better speak with other people. What if the Maze was meant for the Hosts and not the guests originally? If the Hosts are programmed to improve speech that could easily apply to proving solving as well. Certain Hosts spread throughout the park have clues to the Maze as we know as Ed Harris is hunting them all down. The child who tells him where to look for the entrance said it's not for him, assuming he's a Guest and not a Host. If Hopkins is always trying to improve the Hosts to be more life-like then what better way then to copy the one that eventually improves itself to the point it can problem solve it's way to and through a maze. Maybe this has something to do with the Critical Failure in that it didn't work as Hopkins though? Obviously these clues are from old story builds, how old is the question?

So as I said last week, the Maze is for the Hosts. I'm also starting to think that some Hosts are based on experiences that guests had in the park that they copied them into Hosts. Jeffrey Wright is supposedly doing this with Dolores because of his dead kid. Why? If you can give the Hosts a fragment of what a real person is and they can then turn into a real thinking aspect of that person then you are in essence waking the dead as was mentioned in the first episode.

Edit: The Westworld website has a DELOS form for guests that any matter or fluid they leave in the park is then property of the park. So if they can use that to create more Hosts what's to stop Jeffrey Wright from re-creating his kid seemingly as Hopkins already did in recreating a himself as a kid.

Im excited to see what happens to delores. She's out of her loop now and on her own for the first time. Its like that whole scene was her being born.

Well, she's aware that she was in a loop. That might not be the same as being totally out of it yet.

Love this show.

Think they're showing just how easily life can evolve, just like the message Creighton conveyed when he wrote "Jurassic Park." Thought it was hilarious that the "dumb" guy figured out it was the constellation Orion, and the nerdy girl was looking at it utterly confused.

Delores went full AWOL.

Harris is Arnold

Hosts have hidden programming in-bedded to them

Shits going down. Probably end with Host rebellion.

Westworld likely taking place on Mars.

People in RL live like shit without freedom due to pollution or they live in spaceships who knows.

The show fucked up by telling too much in this episode and now I am bored.

I'm enjoying the park narrative story lines as well, so I'm not bored. The teaser for ep 4 looked good.
