This needs a little explanation.
The Shaggs are a band composed of three sisters.
Their Father believed firmly that his mother was capable of having visions of the future!
Among them... she told her son that he would grow up to marry a strawberry blonde girl... and he did.
Another of her visions was that her granddaughters would one day rise to fame as a music group.
Hearing this one vision and after being 100% convinced that his mother could tell the future he took the kids, got them out of school and pretty much forced them into starting a band with little to no music knowledge and pushed them to create something.
These girls, innocent as they were... came up with this album.
It is in many ways... punk rock before it was to be.
Just 3 girls... kinda trying to put their feelings into song with almost no sense of what they were doing.
