I started trying to play Sultans of Swing a couple weeks ago. It's probably one of my favorite songs to drum at the moment. There's something about that snare/kick hit on the 3rd bar of the verse that really just feels fucking good to play. Like it's an unexpected note that just drives the song forward.
Anyway, wasn't sure where to post this. I didn't even know it was a thing, but apparently "Sessanta" is some weird concoction Maynard came up with for his 60th, consisiting of A Perfect Circle, Primus, and Puscifer where they're all on stage together.
I guess they played Red Rocks on Maynard's 60th birthday and had technical difficulties which led into this whole thing.
