Other area managers wanted me to write up my experiences with my direct supervisor from the last 5 months so I did and submitted it wednesday.lol you must have been real honest
Why didn't you tell anyone about her before?Other area managers wanted me to write up my experiences with my direct supervisor from the last 5 months so I did and submitted it wednesday.
Today, after a 3 hour conference with her, my district and regional manager along with my union vice president she was terminated. I felt a bit bad at first but she was awful and in reality I'm happy for everyone else I worked with that they wont have to deal with her any longer.
I was worried about the bridge burning as well but as it turned out my regional vp told me today over the phone if things don't work out for me at my new job that he wants me back and he'll find a way to make room for me.Damn, Tarrant. On the one hand, well done for making a difference. It will probably improve the lot of your former co-workers. On the other hand... that's a hell of a bridge burning.
I had a brief chat today with my old supervisor, and apparently I did just fine in the phone interview and need to keep an eye out for a follow-up. There are a lot of very strong applicants, but I am still in the running.
This was basically what happened with me as well when they tried to counter offer to get me to stay. You said it much more clear than I did and in a much shorter/better way.I was in a similar situation once and told them that they didn't want to listen to me before and now it was their problem and they could figure it out.
