That's France the geographical region, not France the country. Or in other words, France/Gaul. France as a country didn't really exist until the Franks moved in.

The frankish version kicked way more ass than the celtic one. Gaul got annexed by Rome almost the minute they expanded beyond the peninsula. I agree with you about the point that the celtic version shouldn't count, but there is no way that the celtic version was in very many of those conflicts mentioned. So it's just some stupid massaging of the date at which their asskicking began.

I don't think I understood the questions. Were they supposed to not really be questions but just things like "Job satisfaction: Yes/no"? To me that could be interpreted as any number of things (is job satisfaction important, do you have job satisfaction, etc).
