God, I hate reddit. Can I seek out a woman with aids and fuck her instead? I mean, if I'm going to get aids, I might as well enjoy it.

I have to give UPS some credit though. When I redirect with Fedex it always takes days. They say it will take 1-2 days and they'll send me a text when it's ready. I always wait 3 days, get no text, so I go to the location anyway (hoping the text just didn't come through) and it wasn't there yet. Then a day or 2 later I get the text.

With UPS, I did the redirect sunday night and monday morning around 10 I got the text saying it was ready to pick up. So at least I got something for my $8 I guess. It's still bullshit that I have to pay extra for that when I know they're getting paid extra already to get the signature.

I used to know all those special searches. I can't remember what it's called but I think it's related to Grep. A buddy of mine taught it to me. He used to use those modifiers to search for porn. He'd find tons of pics that people had on the web, unsecured, but not actually posted anywhere.

Back to Chrome. memory problems and slow performance were far better than this AIDS.

This is actually the #1 thing that rustles my jimmies. Any time I open up any kind of browser or click on the lower left temperature corner of a screen or whatever the case may be, I get assaulted with these social media dashboard style pages full of "today's headlines" and it's like 80% complete bullshit.

Usually things along the lines of "Trump arrest imminent" (going back like two years) and "Trump is assaulting Democracy" and "Trump 2024 is the biggest threat to America" and "DeSantis is the new face of far-right terror" and "DeSantis wants to teach racism in schools"

(That last one was USA Today I think...USA Today is easily the worst of the major newspapers)

And if it isn't that stuff, it's "Putin threatens to use nukes", "Putin threatens to use nukes (again)", "Russia is out of tanks", "Russia on the retreat", "Russia loses 20% of their tanks in one week"

Then I mention these things being bullshit to other nearby people and get called a Putin-lover or a far-right insurrection fan. Not sure when critical thinking and "question everything" stopped being taught in schools, cause you need it more than ever currently.

One particularly funny day I saw two different headlines, saying Russia had lost 50% of their tanks and 70% of their tanks. IIRC. I probably have the numbers wrong. Lemme see if I can find the shots I took on the phone and I'll post those.

You can turn all that crap off in Edge and start with just a nature picture of the day or nothing. Use the settings button on the top right of a new tab. Specifically Content=Off
