Damn straight, no sense in it. Even if I have a priority ticket where I can board first, I don't go. One time they started calling for me on the loudspeaker before they'd let anyone else in and I had to go up there and chew them out. They fucking knew I was there because I checked in, and I was sitting 10 feet away and had already told the gate person I didn't plan to board till I absolutely had to.
When exiting the plane its the same thing. As much as I'd like to get off quick, I don't bother to get up until there's a break in the line, except for 2 occasions. 1. If the person sitting next to me is in an all fired hurry, I'll get up and let them get on the outside, or 2. If a smoking hot babe is up trying to get her luggage, and I can press up against her while pretending to get mine, I'll do it.
When someone gets the shit beaten out of them for acting stupid, it's just another news story.

Coaches that have to teach a class in order to justify having a job. Seriously, this fucking guy. Old as fuck, has been coaching for 30 years and teaches this bullshit health class. Motherfucker runs it like its high school. Assigned seating, he assigns a chapter, someone gives a presentation and everyone else takes notes on the presentation. He little to no actual teaching. Think I'm just going to test out of this thing.

People who are so bad with money that a 3day delay is a catastrophe, and the fact that this is super common. Someone here is complaining about how they "have" to use a payday loan service because labor day means Friday paychecks are delayed to the following Monday. That three day lag means "hundreds of dollars in late fees" without a loan. Many coworkers agree as to how much of a nightmare this is. I mention that this is awful and stupid, and get that "you are the dumbest person on the planet" condescending look from all of them. I don't have a wife and a mortgage payment, so I can't possibly understand!

Is it normal for pay days to get bumped back due to holidays? Almost every job I've ever had has paid me earlier if a holiday landed on or near the regular pay day.
The one job where my pay was delayed due to holidays was in a third world (literally) shit hole where I got paid cash out of a sack (literally) and the sack didn't arrive from headquarters in time because of holiday travel delays.
