See the Dr today. There's a procedure I'm going to have to have, so we'll start off at mildly rustled (Lvl 1). Dr wants to do it tomorrow morning, cool, let's get this done with. As I'm leaving the office I call the wife and tell her and she reminds me that SHE has a Dr appointment tomorrow....

I call the Dr back, they tell me there aren't any openings on Friday at the surgical center. Great.. Let's upgrade to a level 2 rustle. Call the wife back, she calls and reschedules her appointment for next week. I get home call some co workers and have to find coverage for a meeting tomorrow as I suspect I will not feel like it after minor surgery. Everything is set...

6pm - surgery center calls to confirm my appointment, for FRIDAY morning. Because the Dr had a family situation come up , and they found time on Friday miraculously...

Level 3 rustle unlocked....

Went to the doctor for a shoulder problem. They did an X-ray and said it was fine. They gave me a list of physical therapy exercises to do. He also gave me an order for an MRI to get in case the physical therapy didn’t work. That way i wouldn’t have to come in for an extra visit for him to just say, go get an MRI. I end up booking the MRI, but they call me the day before to say insurance denied it because I didn’t get a post physical therapy follow with the doctor. So now I have to waste more time and money just to have the doctor say “yep, go get the MRI”.

This same shit happened to me. The cherry on top, after wasting all that time will be when you pay more out of pocket than it would have costed if you paid the cash price and didn't involve those parasites at all.

Dearest Microsoft,

Thank you for taking the initiative and changing the way I view file folders randomly every few weeks, despite my having set them to my liking hundreds of times. I am sure that you know better than I do what is most pleasing to my eye and most efficient for my productivity. Who knew that giant folders with thumbnails on them was so much easier to process for my tiny brain than the "List" mode that I have been using for decades? I particularly like how every time you send me one of your wonderful updates I can expect to have to change it back to my inefficient ways, much like having to re-establish all those pesky default "Open with..." preferences that I know would open so much better in your Microsoft products but for some reason I keep trying to use inferior third-party programs. Not to mention every 6 months or so taking it upon yourself to re-organize my desktop icons. I'm sure I needed to clean them up anyway!

And let's not get me started on the way you handle DisplayPort connections; making the computer think I removed the monitor completely and never intend to bring it back when I power it off is pure and utter genius! There is nothing, and I mean nothing, that makes me love you more than that simple quirk of your operating system.

With love,
Void

I debated just going ahead and paying for it. Technically, I haven’t met my deductible yet so I’m going to pay for it anyways. But I want the cost of it to go toward my deductible.
