Vaccines aren't a 100% success rate thing. You're not completely immune to what you're vaccinated against, the system works because vaccination is widespread, which reduces the chances of ever coming into contact with the disease in the first place. The more people that are not vaccinated, the higher the chances of someone with vaccination to be affected due to various issues(not necessarily the vaccine itself failling, just the immunity response from your body not being enough for example).

Vaccines are only about 80-90% effective though. The programs in general rely as much on limiting the vectors for disease as they do immunizing each individual. So it's completely realistic that you could give your kid a shot, then have an unvaccinated kid spread his or her disease to your child

Yep, seems like whenever I go into the gas station or 711 to get an energy drink or something, the person in front of he has to buy all kinds of lottery tickets and scratchers. Couple months ago I saw someone trying to buy a few scratchers and her card got declined so she couldn't buy em. Always the poor ass people buying them.

One of the best laughs I had was on a bus once going to work. It was clear that there was some contact issue with the horn. The horn would blast at times the driver moved the steering wheel, like just randomly. Honk! Honk! big city bus horn.
People were looking at the bus in surprise. Funny stuff.
At one stage we pulled into a log-jammed intersection, the bus edged up behind the car in front - Honk! Honkity! Honk!! The chick inside the car is turned back swearing her head off at the bus-driver. Pointing at the cars ahead "Where the fuck am I 'spose to go!!"
I was wetting myself laughing.
