Pretty sad, but he'd had a good run at 91. He composed for some amazing films and his music certainly played a part in making some of them great.

Great legacy.

my dad was a huge fan of his. he even had an album or albums of those film's scores. he was probably almost as big as John Williams back in the day.

Living to 83 not bad for someone that was not in the greatest health all his life. Ruptured blood vessel in the brain. Probably from seeing all the shit going on in the world.
