I had that for the first few tracks and got a little more used to it. Then I went back to my old car + Link and it felt normal.Maybe I'm just rusty but drifting with Link just seems off. It must just be me.
I've never had any kind of success with small characters. They get bounced around like ping pong balls. Its Medium or Large characters.ExciteBike map is god tier. I love it. But for some reason my Shy Guy who I generally play as was getting raped ont he maps. I was getting throw around left and right. It seems like all the new DLC maps favor aggressive play instead of "Get ahead and coast" style.
yeah, if a big characters touches a small, its spin out city. Then about .5 seconds later about 2-4 more players spin you out and its over. lolYeah, Bowser all the way. There's too much chaos in the game as is. It's even worse with a small/light character.
i been thinking about getting it, but i've never played a smash game. i try to watch it sometimes and i have no fucking idea how the game works lolCan't fucking wait for Smash Wii U. My roommates and I STILL play the Wii Version regularly. Hope they made Donkey Kong and Jiggly a little better, though - they're my favorites.
Yep. All characters have the exact same "attacks". You have the A button which is your simple punch/kick. Then you have the B button which are more character-specific special abilities. Each can be changed with the direction you move the stick while you simultaneously hit the button. So "A + ->" is your typical smash attack. When someone is at a high percentage you nail them with that, they're typically gone. However, each character has smash attacks that are much better in different directions. For some it's down and A, others up and A. Some characters also have amazing special abilities that are great for smashing - like Captain Falcon's Falcon Punch. It is basically a fast paced arcade fighter. Instead of having a traditional HP bar you gain a %. Getting hit gains you %. The higher the % the more likely you are to get punted off screen and die. The only way to die is by falling off screen or getting punted off screen. There are also items which aren't used in most competitive matches but add a certain fun factor to playing with friends. They are a good way to normalize skill levels. Instead of most traditional fighters it isn't about memorizing a massive moveset insteadSmash is more about knowing the few moves your character has (and, I believe, all characters have the same button and stick movements to execute the moves) and how to combo them together.
