Yeah, the queue and server seems to have a 10-15 minute buffer. If you get disconnected, you can still log right in without a queue which is nice.
Started an Exile Engineer on Eko (EU). Not sure if I am going to switch.
PS: Anyone know of addons that
1) Keeps the tool tip display on the mouse cursor, not on the bottom left? WoW had to have a mod for this initially too until they came to their senses and allowed this from their standard UI.
2) Allow separate chat window customizations? I want the main chat window to always have some background tint, but the misc chat window to fade out. When I do anything with opacity in the default chat settings it does it to "chat", which seems to be all chat windows.
So... 8 hours. Noice. Think I'll get breakfast. Go for a walk. Go to work. Come back. Sleep. Maybe have a few drinks with friends.

The wait time seems a bit off, so dont be discouraged. Mine was 3k+ in queue, i was in in under ten minutes. For peeps having problems claiming stuff, click once and let the bar charge, then click it again. If you repeatedly mash it it doesnt seem to work, same for if you just hit it once.
For addons, Im not using much except for bijiplates which is a nice nameplate addon, and SCastbar to give you a cast bar underneath your character like in Wow.

Bijiplates apparently has a memory leak bug atm, so I avoided that.

I think Stormtalon was the default choice when people logged in for the first time. Not realm select, just was autoselected.

So this goblin prisoner wont reveal where the key is even after our intrepid band of adventurers threaten him with butt rape. The female cleric takes the goblin aside and, with kindness, convinces him to talk. Turns out he swallowed the key. So they cram a funnel down his throat and pour in lamp oil.
But they don't kill him because he was brave.
That's a mistake.

Well, if you're equating the queue to goblin butt rape, I agree. But I think you may have the wrong thread.

The guild is made and we have a pretty healthy population. I understand that waiting in queue is entirely frustrating, especially when you have friends playing. Most people voted that they'd be willing to sacrifice the potential of long queues to ensure that were on a server with a healthy population. It could be a lot worse than Stormtalon (see: Pergo's queues measured in days waiting).
