I really hope they use this as well. It's not so much about "we can't get the people" for me as it is "we don't want more people". If they don't I'm sure everyone will still manage to raid just fine but flexible raids are rad. I also hope they get rid of hard-coded factions for PvE and allow both races to play together in dungeons/raids.

The issues with an overloaded server are very reminiscent of WoW vanilla happenings or the item database shenanigans. Very similar. Of course we're breaking the population record to cause it, so there's that.

stress test is up right now, but not even able to stay connected long enuff to make a character let alone, log in into the world. Name checking taking ages too.

I don't intend to "try" this game to scratch my MMORPG itch. Because it will never do.
I am trying this game since I am an MMORPG observer & an enthusiast and unlike many people I try to base my opinion on personal experiences. How can I do that when I don't try every important MMORPG title?

I'm interested in this mutated genre and I always try every single title and give it justice despite its intended target audience.

Call me a Critic if that would make you less surprised.

Watching the livestreams I really am quite captivated by the art style and humor of the game. It feels like a Don Bluth film in game form.

Seems like the structures are WoW BC era style with a space theme but more basic. Not a whole lot of detail depth compared to say FFXIV
