Winter 2020 Anime Thread

Season 1 was a great show, but season 2 non so much. I was under the impression that they couldn't do a 3rd season, though. I thought the books stopped all together (Writer quit) Maybe they'll take the already done plot and just give it an ending somehow.

This was written up back in 2017, so who knows what all has changed. I guess the author had some sort of legal troubles, which is why he stopped writing the light novels. I dunno where they're going now. It said his original goal was to end the series with light novel #15, but as of now only up to #11 has been released in Japan.

Looking around online, I found this post on some board about Log Horizon.
"Volume 12 only exists in web novel form; in other words, it's only his drafts and nothing has been finalized.
After volume 11's release in Japan last March, it was announced that they were aiming for a Summer 2018 release for vol12 and had some details released for who would be the chapter cover characters (Akatsuki, Saraliya/Raynesia's mom, Rezarick, Lord Marves, and Saiguu Touri/a new character to vol12). Obviously, that never happened and no news has been unveiled since then.
Volumes 13 and 14 are also online as the author's drafts, but volume 14 stopped halfway through and hasn't updated since last March as well. We only know volumes 15 and 16 are going to exist because of the ReFraction event last May, where an illustration and small snippet/summary for each volume were shown. When they'll be released and how far work has progressed on them is a total unknown."

It took me a few attempts to get through season 2. Season 1 tho is a classic.

Fate Babylonia was great this week. Fun times ahead.

So I've been slowly infected by weebness and started watching Fate. Stay/night, Unlimited blade works, and Heaven's feel are retellings of the different storylines from the original VN right? Where would I go once I finish those three?

Turtle is OP for escort quests alone.

And I dont know the best way to watch the Fate series, but definitely make sure to watch Fate/Zero. The end is pretty WTF, but the way it tells the story is great, and the animation is amazing. Also Rider is fucking dope.

After that, other Fate series are pretty much standalones, until they decide to finally adapt Hollow/Ataraxia which takes place after Stay/Night.

Watch Zero before or after the original three?

I'm already about halfway through the original and it does seem pretty dull compared to clips I've seen of more recent stuff.

Is Heaven's Feel movies only, or is there a series?
