The next twitter shitstorm will be when Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid season two airs and Iruru, the oppai shortstack dragon is introduced. That will be the point where everyone will realize that the author Cool-kyou Shinja is a total degenerate: He made a manga where a blonde woman with big boobs paizuri's a small guy with premature ejaculation problems... basically every chapter.

The one after that is when they realize that Cool-kyou Shinja and Amahara (the author of Interspecies Reviewers) made a manga series together, and that anime is also airing summer 2021. It's not as degenerate as you'd think.

Does the light novel for the Spider show have this human nonsense in it? The manga was pure Kumo and was really fun to read. This school life drama shit needs to go.

Novel definitely had POV chapters to at least show what was going on with the humans. The manga has barely reached the start point where it will become relevant, however.

This is some pretty degen shit boys. Even for me. Not sure if I can tolerate an entire series that is outright nothing but insane revenge porn.

This is the reaction everyone had at first, even the novel readers. Doesn't help that the "high school side" is intentionally as generic as possible, with Shun (blue haired boy) being the parody of a generic isekai protagonist.

Then shit hits the fan, and after that a whole trainload of liquid feces hits a jet engine, but suddenly those chapters stop and you think "fuck the spider, she survives anyway, I want to know how this part is going to end". I am not kidding, this is the intended reaction to those chapters.

Also, it amuses me to no end that anime only viewers
have started to call the spider Wakaba.

Even in the mange I wish they wouldn't waste time on the humans. Kumo-chan is the best. *high level moral or nature of the universe topic gets touched* *fuck it, let's go kill shit* And really, Kumo-chan is the best. Hyperactive little thing trying to survive in a world that doesn't seem to want that to happen.

Poeple who know the WN/LN assumed that the manga was a LN promo and would end once she left the cave at the latest, but it has been too popular. Now the manga is in an awkward position where Kumoko's antics aldready had grave consequences, but you didn't see the fallout on the human side (even if you don't understand the connections it at the moment). You can catch a glimpse of it when Gülie pops up.

The manga will shift in tone and provide a new set of Kumoko shenanigans once Maou Ariel comes back and you realize that
Kumoko is a total shut-in loner with social anxiety, and the hyperactive quirky personality you have seen until now is only in her head, and it comes out only when she is totally drunk.

An example to explain this a bit: Feirune (Shun's earth dragon baby) came out of the egg Kumoko found in the labyrinth and the humans stole from her.
It is implied that the god who reincarnated them into this world placed her there.
The god placed her there so she could be eaten by Kumoko as poetic justice and retribution.
Not only because the god thought it would be funny, but because it was personal.

I was laughing my ass off at redo healer. It's like one those invincible autist archetypes that come up in japanese anime, except the main character is the legitimate monster. We in for a wild ride.

In the first or second episode, there was a scene of one girl pouring some liquid over another girls book. I believe the one who did the pouring is now the little earth dragon, while the one who had the book is the spider.
