Odd, Solo Leveling is going way faster than I had thought considering what starts in the next episode, we might get the JP guys showing up before the season ends.

I think the fight vs. Igris was far superior to the Baran fight, so I'm a bit disappointed. I guess this season might actually finish the Jeju arc, if so, I really hope they make that fight very well animated.

It seems like what we like in fights has a generational split. I loved the Igris fight as well as did my friends,but a bunch of kids (mid teens) I know preferred the Baran fight for some reason. They do seem to be racing past some stuff, almost like they want the monarch stuff next year.

It's a short enough manga that they really don't need to be speed running the series and cutting quality, but meh. It's a fun and goofy series and as I said before it will be a fun ride all the way up until the power scaling goes full retard and people tune out and stop giving a shit.

I'm on team 'liked Igris fight better'. For that matter, I liked the fight with Barca better as well. They seem more technical and had more struggle. The more recent fights with Kargalan / Baran were definitely a spectacle but were missing that special something for me. It turned from tactical knife play to an atom bomb blast generating uppercut. While fun, there isn't much of a sense of danger and the power level is getting absurd. I can only imagine at some point Jinwoo will start hurling planets about.

She won't be unless they make the demon chick somehow blood related to Jin Woo.

Also demon chick plays a much bigger role in Solo Levelling Ragnarok.
