You can't even keep your story straight, you said it's not condoned in the UK and now you're saying its just far less prevalent. Which one is it? Where are the retrospective bans for all the divers that people are so disgusted by who play every week for the biggest clubs in the UK? Moyes doing a "tisk tisk" to A. Young one time is all the managers frothing at the mouth now? Do you even read what you write as this is fucking hilarious?
Maul, you've yet to admit who you even root for? I think we all know but lets hear it.
What about when everyone from Liverpool was rallying around Suarez for the previous bites, tackles, racism etc? Obviously, no matter how hypocritical it is, people will defend their own. Another football forum I frequent had Liverpool fans again refusing to believe it was a bite and merely just a stumble. People always support their own, even if it makes them look retarded.
I have said that the premier league does not want diving in the game, fans from ALL teams hate it, no one wants to see it yet for the reasons I have stated its a difficult process, which it is for the reasons I have said and whats been repeated by the FA and Clubs, if you take retrospective action against a match deciding dive or red cards, you will find the situation escalating asking for replays of games and other such disruption. The very article you cited to make your point says everything I've just said.
We wanted Goal Line technology years ago, FIFA said No, now suddenly its here. As the globalisation continues and the revenues increase year on year, changes will come in slowly, they have been wanted in the UK especialyl for many years now. No self respecting Premier League fan will defend diving (Liverpool fans are the exception, pricks). We fucking hate it and its becoming less of an issue each season, obviously you get the same cunts trying it on, with the large influx of foreign players we have its inevitable, its almost encouraged to dive and play act in Spain/Italy etc. English teams are far more physical, which is something of a hinderance in the champions league because of all the soft calls from refs. Do we want a fix for the issue? Of course, I hate diving and play acting, but in some cases there is a very fine line between a dive and an actual foul, which is the reason its so difficult to spot in the fast pace of the games. Robben dives are obvious of course though.
Listen dude, all the Liverpool shit aside, because who doesn't love a bit of banter, you are obviously a passionate emotional guy who loves his team. Lets just agree to disagree and wait for the 14/15 season to call each other cunts again?
PS. Ashley Young is notorious for his antics, and gets slated for it in the Media, by pundits and especially Man Utd fans.
