It's a red by default, last defender denying a clear chance of a goal, doesn't matter how severe the foul is.

He was last defender denying a clear goal scoring opportunity. Automatic red card. And since the initial contact was outside the box, then it should have been a free kick there and not a penalty.

Haha, Robben gets carded for being fouled and tripping the Brazilian player as he goes down. Ref worst man on the pitch. Can only hope he'll send Robben off with a yellow red for diving when he didn't actually dive

Why does this Dutch keeper in particular keep dicking around with the ball for so long when an opposing player is in his face? I feel like every other keeper I've seen sends it across the field a lot quicker with no chance of anything going wrong.

ps, keepers do that to draw the attacker in, which puts them more out of position and make them offside straight away, so they have to run back. Helps to prevent a counter attack coming straight back since he miss kicks or someone loses the ball .
