To change the topic a bit, im having troubles with huntard PvP, namely the 1v1 vs melee. Ive tried all sorts of macro setups to get feign death and traps to work but it jsut does not. Looking into this I see people complaining about this issue on main forums. Basically when I get a melee on me I cant do shit. For those of you that play or played a huntard int the past, how did you solve this riddle?

In the grand scheme of thing I dont really give a shit, but jsut from what im seeing I have no counter to any melee that gets on my ass, usually when im fighting a mob too. WTF good are traps if you cant lay them down in combat? Most stupid thing ever. The disengage thing does not seem to work either.

Normal mounts are 60%. Epic are 100%.

When you include the 3 second cast time, it does actually take a rather substantial amount of time for the level 40 mount to be faster than Cheetah, especially if you have the improved talent to make it 136%. So you honestly won’t use it much while grinding or if you are doing quests in a nearby area. Once you need to ride 20+ seconds though the mount does get you there faster.

make sure you put your pet to passive before you FD and try and trap. If you stay in combat you can't drop it. Some people are saying it takes longer than normal to drop combat, unknown. I also don't know if it works with a bleed on you. Will need to do some testing.

Disengage only works on mobs, most of the time FD is better.

Step 1, need on everything
Step 2, melee things if possible, it's free real-estate/dps!
Step 3, aspect of the pack speeds up dungeons, keep it on from the beginning
Step 4, ???
Step 5, you now know everything young padwan


I think I recall macro'ing pet passive to my FD, but it's been many expansions since I actually played my hunter seriously in TBC and Wrath and still used mana and had to FD/drink during boss fights.

I know I had all of the pet commands bound to my F keys because I had to use them quite often.

I decided to spend the 1g to respec my mage from Fire to AoE Frost yesterday. Like a completely fucking moron, I didn't think about the fact that at level 18 I don't have the AoE frost spell yet. FML!

So, now I am like a pathetic waste of space DPS in dungeons until I hit level 20 (I think that's when I get Blizzard). /sigh

Don't let it get you down. I, for some stupid reason, thought lvl 40 mounts were 10g, total. I was so jazzed I stopped saving, bought some shit, etc. Then the sad trombone played.

Also, what retard thought spell batching (artificial lag) was a good idea. It's 2019, not 2004 - just accept that the internet is faster and adjust accordingly

Losing momentum on levelling fucks so many things up. It feels like I get nothing done and everything takes so much longer than it should. That added to the "pressure" to keep up with others results in a pretty draining experience.

For you Rogues, I highly suggest you do the Booty Bay distraction shit like in that video. An ally rogue got me with it twice earlier and I can only imagine how infuriating it would be to someone that gets easily upset. It's super trolly.

This one was dedicated too. He got me running onto the ramp for the boat, and I ended up missing the boat, so I get back up and wait the long ass time for the boat. I had an inkling he was still around, and so I did small short steps to get on the next boat, but even that wasn't enough and I went into the drink again. I have to admire a man that dedicated to his craft.

Regarding leveling I have been following joanas guide for the most part and the most infuriating thing is missing a step like a quest pick up or forgetting a quest item in the bank (he tells you to bank some shit from time to time to save space for later turn ins) this has been the only downfall of following his guide, its not really the fault of the guide more of the person reading it lol, but nevertheless its a problem. So sometimes I find myself back tracking, wasting time to correct the above since some of these quests are chains that run like 4-5 deep.

But its beautiful in the end how this all coalesces into huge EXP spikes when you turn in all that shit, or thinking at times WTF am I going all the way here to pick this quest up, when in the end all makes sense later on when your fighting some shit and are completing like 2-3 quests at the same time.

Also he will do an area, say the swamp of sorrows, then leave before every quest is completed. At firs I was like, why? Why not stay and complete all the dammed quests, WTF? But then you come to realize that you then go to other places and do some quests there and pick up other quests to do back in the swamp later, so then you come back to finish and do 2x more quests than if you would have stayed there to complete it and never come back. Or without the guide youwould be wasting your time flying around the world trying to finish up one quest line in places you were in before.

The dude is probably a huge autist going through all this shit way back when and compiling all this into a pretty smooth leveling guide through the world.

I think I'm just too old and grumpy to play on a PvP server. I get mad enough as is when someone tries talking to me for 3 seconds, and then and only during those 3 seconds do I run through a full camp of stuff and die :p
