Man you are very insightful. I can't wait to read the EQ thread where you ask why people still fucking play that game since SOE fucking ruined it. Then, maybe I can soak up your sage wisdom on the Rift thread where you query us as to why one would play it when Trion fucking ruined it. Maybe I'll even get lucky and you'll drop into the EQNext thread and predict that SOE will fucking ruin it!
Something might be coming actually, it's quite big news in Europe atm after Amazon, Google and Starbucks got busted for doing the same thing as Apple and moving around profits to countries they get a deal with and not paying any taxes on billions of ?/$/EU sales. The G8 and G20 are talking about how they can work together to grab a share of all the missing coinage.
No doubt they'll find a new way to scam their way out of it but the old ways might be closed within a year or two.

Well if you played as long as I have you would not need detailed accounts regarding how and what they did to ruin the game from Vanilla and TBC. A little internet searching will net you all the information you need. It's not a secret. You must be new here as well. The other games you mention served their purpose as the WoW clones they are

So I don't know how to get my mage back to Pandaria. I got on the gunship moved to Pandaria. Then I mowed down those alliance guys. Didn't bother turning in quest, just jumped to the ground (lol haven't played in awhile slowfall not on hotbar), die. Revive. I can't fly back up, so I hearthed back to Org, and the gunship above Org that you take over is gone. Drop the quest, no way to restart the quest, so I'm stuck.
The best thing about wow are the animations, so smooth, it's worth subbing for once every 12-18 months.

Regular weekly maintenance/server restart in EU. Servers been down for 12 hours with maint extended three times so far.

Ever since they did this cross-realm shit, the object delay (drawing and such) is so fucking bad. I fly 40 feet past an herb/mine node before it fucking draws.

Yes EverQuest, the game that was released 5 years prior to WoW did serve it's purpose as a WoW clone. That is until SOE fucking ruined it!
