His preference is hard solo content. What does Legion offer a player like him?
Solo queued a few times when satchel was reward for tanks. All of them when smooth. Heroics are laughable, really. Pretty sure soon I could solo a few boss fights. How are the Heroic dungeon queue groups? Is it a mess of noobs or do they roll pretty smoothly?
I did a couple dozen. I had one bad experience with a healer who literally didn't heal me between encounters and bitched about how much damage I was taking. We died 5 times on that run. I have zero deaths in any other heroic. Everything is still tank and spank pretty much. How are the Heroic dungeon queue groups? Is it a mess of noobs or do they roll pretty smoothly?
Ooof. To be honest, one of the things I noticed about this expansion is that it is a fair bit more dungeon-centric. The zone quests all funnel you toward them, even crafting sends you to them. So like the complete opposite of what it sounds like your father's preference is. Of course, they are all well done and worth doing a bit just to see them, in my opinion; pretty cool stuff.
Why does everyone that Thicket? Not a bad dungeon really.
The zone design is vastly different than WoD (Where they went out of there way to make running around on ground mounts as painful as possible).
Yes, but some to caveat, some specs have different secondary stat priorities.Just to clarify something. For all intensive purposes all Armor slot items apply to any spec you happen to be. The different items for tanking/healing/DPS are mostly trinkets and Artifact Relics...
Does this seem right?
