I actually really like the run anims for furries, the rest of the animations are just goblins which are decent

Well I was kinda tempted by the solo-nature of the nightmare progression and the general storyline for 8.3... but then Blizzard had to go and start kowtowing to the Central Committee so that took care of that.

This is going to be a very funny Blizzcon, one way or the other. Maybe this will even be their last, because gamers are toxic or something.

Nah, there are too many people who don't even follow the outside world to know what happened. Blizzard should look at their rules though. The rule they DQ'd him on is so open ended it's crazy. If you do something that makes you look bad to any portion of the public.....

My guess is a lot of the social media kids "protesting" Blizzard are back playing their games in a week once their Twitch viewership goes down.

If you show up at Blizzcon wearing a Winnie the Pooh cosplay suit, will they throw you out?

It's open ended on purpose. It's the same reason they've fined & banned people from playing in the overwatch league for posting pepe memes, or using the ok hand symbol, or speaking about politics on a podcast.

It's a problem with blizzard being in complete control over the esports scenes for their games. You're contracted and working for blizzard, you're not just a player playing the game like it used to be. They can make any rules they want and everybody decided to agree to them instead of telling them to fuck off. This whole china thing is literally nothing new at all, it's just this is the only time people have paid attention.

The e-sports they don't handle just don't get the hype of their stuff. Look at the MDI. They are at like 70k peak viewers. Keystone Masters I don't remember ever seeing more then like 5k. Maybe there was more but no where near 70k.
