I've never been a PVPer, but I loved BGs in Vanilla, especially the epic AV runs. Spent a crazy amount of time there. I even loved world PVP, such as the yuuuge Sothshore battles pre AV. It was also good in BC, but after Wrath it went downhill fast and I blame balance on it.

Edit: I played a hunter so it wasn't as if I was playing an OP clas.

It is not possible to play any other games and play retail WoW (and work 85 hours a week.)

I built a new computer like 3 months ago now and the only game installed on it is still WoW.

I'm not going to say WoW has amazing PvP, but it's pretty fun and the more skilled players do reliably win more often, even if sometimes shit players can get lucky and beat better players.

This is no different from any other game that uses ELO-style ratings, like MTG. Sometimes you get a bunch of infinite stars procs, sometimes you draw no lands.

Yeah but I mean, those games were built with the intention to be pvp games.

I enjoy wow pvp for what it is, but the amount of self healing in the game right now is insane and makes it unenjoyable to me. I've played to 2k pretty much every season in bfa playing pretty casually with a friend which I know isn't crazy high but it's high enough to not face purely spergs anymore. One thing is for certain, mages and warriors healing for half my healing as holy is fucking insane

I wouldn't expect new alpha movement until at least next week, all the tourists get to see Nzoth die and the SICK IN GAME CUT SCENE BABY this week in LFR, so they don't need to do anything this week.

Alpha is up internally at least, but given that they even cancelled 8.3.5 before 8.3 came out they're probably further ahead than everyone thinks.

Here's hoping there's no insane games systems they don't test until the final 2 weeks. Also I had totally forgotten in BFA beta they didn't even allow premade max level characters. We should've all known it was going to launch as a disaster lmao
