There are more feral druids than resto on northdale, both tanks and cat DPS. Cat form requires heavy consumable farm (manual crowd pummelers from gnomeregan) but played properly can do good DPS, certainly not bottom of the pack if played right
Every guild I've raided with in the last 5 months has had a dedicated bear off tank.

I mean, almost half of us are pretty set on Alliance... including the only guy who has stepped up saying he will run the whole thing. Also, with most pvp interest seeming to favor horde... chances are the alliance are going to be the ones with no queues. Basically, if you want more opportunity for world pvp, play alliance, if you want shorter queues, play alliance.

This is true but I also know that Alliance have a pretty big advantage in the PvE content in Classic. Plus I mean how seriously do you guys take the faction hatred? I mean look if I ordered a Pizza and the dude said he was a paladin I probably wouldn't give him a tip but thats about as far as my hate goes.

I'd be okay with alliance, Blessing of Salvation is nice, though Chain Heal is nicer. But I think

I have been warrior main since launch. We made friends with someone who played warrior on Alliance back then. He literally did not know what stance dancing was. If they didn't get fear ward for Magmadar it was chaos.

So I heard some streamers mention that during the first week of beta sign ups they had some 1.1 milllion people opt int o the beta, thats the first week alone. I think this is gonna be bigger than most people realize. Now sure, some will drop this because its not easy enough like live, but im sure that many will stick with it which comes to my second point, what the fuck will they do when they run out of vanilla content?
Like I mentioned before, It hink this is the perfect opportunity to reboot the whole damn thing and take this in an entirely different direction. But sadly this is 2019 blizzard were talking about here, so this is a pipe dream.

It will be exactly like everquest when they did it. Overloaded launches that crush the servers. Content way easier than people thought, now that it's known and modded and min max isn't secretive. Massive burnout between content drops. Purists screaming bloody murder. Most importantly though, an absolute magnet for the kind of antisocial autists (literal autism here not ethug insult) that despise the unknown and want the safe and comfortable, and will absolutely fucking shit on your community experience you might be foolishly hoping for.

I know most people are to dense to understand but so much of end game raiding in Vanilla is throttled by threat. Hence why tanks needed Thunderfury, also why Blessing of Salvation is OP as fuck. Now I know we have some people here who can look at a threat meter and throttle their DPS although they will whine because it isn't fun to gimp yourself, but there are also plenty of fucking REEREE's who will fucking go balls deep and die two seconds in because they are functionally retarded.

Ive been hearing threat meters dont work on beta, they broke that shit.
As to me, I never raided in vanilla, no time back then, besides I was still addicted as fuck to EQ back then and thought WoW was gimped. But I did level 2 characters to max solo, never really did anything other than some PvP battleground grinding. Especially AVs. Man I loved me some AV.

Thats because the "threat API" doesn't exist. People need to pull out the manual calculations they did back then based on specific abilities used.
