My biggest gripe is the general bugginess of the server, tons of broken quests, loot tables are fucked. As a rogue you can pickpocket the farmers and Scarlet warriors outside the undead starting area for up to 60c each + normal loot, high level greens dropping from starter area trash. NPC damage formulas are way out of whack, rfc and bats for obvious examples.

These are minor but it's making me question what the higher levels will be like, especially raids.

To sum it up, I'm taking a break from the server til I see reports of the rest of the content, I'd rather not waste so much time playing if it's just a giant pile of shit, considering how slow and painful leveling is.

My biggest gripe so far is the escort quests can only be completed by one person in a group at a time. There are lots of other default mangos bugs but none are game breaking as far as I can see.

I'm sure they don't need your help, they say they have 16 developers, which was the basis for my previous posts, with that many people, why are there so many broken mechanics?

Nostalrius has had 16 developers since 2010. Current number of devs is unknown.

It's hard to compare a beta to an official release, both projects had problems.

So, with the first few days of Nost done, has anyone played the Kronos server? What are the main differences? AV being pre-nerf and the 1.4 items seem like all to me (a casual who just looked at both servers).

The population on Nostalrius is pretty sick. These zones are probably more populated than they were in actual live vanilla.

Yeah, I was pretty surprised when I decided to try it out two nights ago. Shittons of people all over Mulgore. Haven't encountered any bugs or what not yet, either.

The population is indeed awesome, since starting my work week I've notice a lot of higher level areas are becoming more populated as people catch up to me.

There are alot of bugs, very few are annoying though. For a quality project, it defiantly seems rushed.

I'm playing alliance because for Vanilla the horde leveling experience is just bad. At least it was how I remember it. I'm sure I'll regret that when its pvp time...

From what I read recently, the horde side has more quests while leveling. So it's a little less grindy.

Maybe, but I leveled like 5 alliance characters up during vanilla so I know their areas decently well and where to go/what to do. Horde is probably fine too but I only leveled one horde character during vanilla. And I remember the barrens really sucking the life out of me.

Proof has been posted of nostalrius faking population numbers on reddit, I knew shit wasnt right on launch day... 3000 people divided by 3 starting zones yet it looked like around 150 people in tirisfal.

I dunno if it's fake or not. My /who did over 6,000 a couple of hours ago and it fucking sucks. Everything is dead or camped. I don't know how having that many people on your server makes it attractive for people to play there.

It does kind of suck. Questing is very hard and you can't even grind much because literally everything is dead or camped. Hard to level at all.
