About twenty years ago I have up lying to the wife about anything. This was roughly 6 years after we were married. I warned her, I really did and I was specific about things that might upset her. I gave her the example of how clothes fit or her weight, if she doesn't want to know the truth don't ask. Honestly it has been a dream these past twenty years. She asks, I answer truthfully, we move on. I did learn early on that telling her she looked tubby was a bad idea, so I would say something like you clearly have put on weight and need more exercise instead. It worked well.

Today I ran into the first glitch. She asked me what yarn to use for a sweater she is knitting. I don't know shit about yarn but I was honest about the colors. I responded that 99 percent of the time the colors women pick for anything they knit is god awful. When I look at most of the patterns and the colors chosen they look dirty before they are even put on. She gave me the old yarn that those colors are in style now. I think I was being tactful because what I really wanted to say is for gods sake look at the pig wearing that thing in the picture, do you really want to take fashion advice from her? Real fashion is timeless and they look like they have never worn anything but horseshit fabrics in godawful colors ever in their lives.

So is this me getting old and being a pussy or was I still tactful in my delivery. I honestly have no idea.

Find some Yarnin' websites or forums/facebook for her. Youre giving her too much shit. Being salty is fun but you both need to have fun and playful still.

I assume this is a sign. I was watching a porn last night. Really fucking hot; the girl shook like she was having a seizure when the came. But instead of typical porn soundtrack, they had the TV on. Early on I recognized Christopher Eccleston's voice and I was like, hey I think I know this show. It was a 30+ minute video and for the first time ever in a video that long (outside of xev bellringer) I don't fast forward because I'm trying to ID the show. Dick in one hand, volume turned up, telling the cunt to shut up when she moans because she keeps walking on dialogue that has names. I was stuck on Dr who stuff because of Eccleston but eventually I realized it was heroes. I heard someone make a veiled threat against Claire to the man in the horned rim glasses and it clicked.

It was a good clean nut. Maybe I need to solve puzzles while watching porn more often.

What did you go with? Asking for a friend.

Phillips Norelco 3000 Series. Gets the job done relatively well, with easy cleanup. Battery has lasted over two years now, and it's replaceable.

Dated a woman that was 11 years older than me in my 20's. She let me know just recently she turns 60 soon.

When you get into running in your mid 40s and can’t stop telling everybody how good it feels.

I just did this, rolling over into 50.

To the thread, when you get into running at 50 and your accessories include knee and ankle tensors. To be fair, I blew an achilles a couple of years ago and I have been anticipating the other going so I protect it dearly......

When you have a fond memory of something that happened "a couple of years ago" but when you do the math you realise it was more than 10 years ago.

Realized that Deep Space Nine first aired 27 years ago, making it just as old as the original 60s Star Trek was when DS9 started.

Generational thing I guess. Reading reddit for a couple of games. It never once, ever, would enter my mind to pick up my phone and take a pic to show something in a game that has a screenshot function. Ever. I see it all the time now, like my phone can do anything including take pics of my computer to show something that's kind of fuzzy now and part of the table and part of my computer room and at an angle etc....

Not really. Top-level IT executives don't know how to fullscreen or put into presentation mode when presenting their Powerpoints. When I see those same people presenting and they have maybe 3-4 applications open, I wonder what they do all day. My system has 32GB almost pinged with all the shit I run validations on... How do you do your job with just Outlook, Skype/Teams, and Powerpoint? And get paid probably 50% more than I do.
