It's meh? I mean, it was just the pilot/first episode so it could pan out. I mean the show got picked up for a full season after the first episode aired.

It's definitely not horrible, and the mother at least does a good job of parroting Laurie Metcalf. The kid is fine, but the rest of the family didn't click with me yet.
