Where's the Rick and Morty?

Their first (and so far only) season is legendary.

Well personally a big difference between the early cancellation of Deadwood and and the early cancellation of Carnivale is that Carnivale really suffers from the lack of a proper end where I don't feel Deadwood really does.
I'll have to watch that on HBO GO then. But I'm behind on Arrow and Orange is the New Black.

Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Simpsons
Arrested Development 1-3
Archer
South Park
Chappelle Show
Metalocalypse
Game of Thrones (prefer the books, though)
Law & Order
Seinfeld

Honorable mention to Aqua Teen Hunger Force. It is hit and miss, but the hits are some of my favorite TV episodes. Handbanana, Frat Aliens, Mooninites & Larry Miller Hair System, among others.

Like everyone else, in no particular order (and thanks for some of the reminders):

Upright Citizen's Brigade
Rick & Morty
Breaking Bad
The Wire
Luther
Sherlock
Babylon 5
Married With Children
and finally, Fantasy Island and the original Charlie's Angels. Yeah, they were cheesy, but watching as a kid those were the two shows I always looked forward to besides Saturday morning cartoons. For vastly different reasons, if you catch my meaning. I had the Farrah poster on my wall, but I was always a Jaclyn Smith fan. Hell, I'd fuck her right now.

In no particular order, and not listing any one season wonders even though I loved Firefly.

GoT:Obviously

Breaking Bad:Obviously

The Simpsons:It was better for longer than anyone gives it credit, the recent marathon should have reminded everyone of this. 24 hours a day of Simpsons and it was worth tuning in at any random time for a fucking week+.

Top Gear:I assume everyone just forgot about this, because it's been better for longer than everything else here. 167 episodes of absolute hilarity and awesomeness.

Deadwood:One of the best shows of all time is somehow underrated. Insanity.

Parks and Recreation:Just ridiculously good comedy. So many great characters.

Archer:Season 2 might be the funniest season of any show ever. Last 2 seasons were a bit shaky but even then the high points are funnier than everything else on TV.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia:You could almost cut and paste the Archer comments here. Except the last 2 seasons have been a pretty nice return to form after some shaky ones.

Justified:Has any show had as many great villains and anti-heroes? As the show has gone on it's been less and less about Raylan and more about everyone else and it's still working.

Curb Your Enthusiasm:I struggled to come up with a single show for my 10th one. But when Curb ties an episode together in that final few minutes it's brilliant every single time. No other comedy has ever built episodes this way this effectively. So many ridiculous threads all come to a head every single week and are somehow hilarious every time.

The other shows in the running for the last slot were Venture Bros. and Metalocalypse. Because they're hilarious. Oh and An Idiot Abroad.

Spartacus for sure. It did not deserve to be as utterly entertaining as it was. Holy crap, season one is gay porn. And it's not like that ever changes. It gets even more shameless and obvious. And it's GREAT.

Lololol ceasar getting assraped by that snotty kid.

It deserves a mention because of how oddball it was. It should not have worked, that tone is impossible to maintain. And yet they maintained it.

I feel like if The Wire, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos and Mad Men aren't in your top 10, you are doing it wrong.

I didn't like either Breaking Bad or The Sopranos. The wife totally ruins Breaking Bad for me, and it was a lot of little things in The Sopranos. I could watch episodes of Breaking Bad, and then the wife would be an insufferable cunt for a few moments, and I couldn't touch the show for a week. It's like the beginning of that Fargo TV series recently (which was great actually), but the problem was pointed out and taken care of as the catalyst for the series.

The whole last season was total ownage. For whatever reason, it effected me emotionally like no other series ever has. I cried during that last episode not because the show was over, but because it was just so emotionally moving and well done. That last fight scene with Spartacus HAS to be one of the best scenes ever recorded, on any media.

Please lock your wife in a closet and re-watch Breaking Bad. Nothing should stand between you and Greatness.

Hard to do just 10. Top 3 are in order, the rest aren't.
Married with Children
The Highlander - Probably why I like to wear kilts today
Beverly Hillbillies
Lost Girl - Kenzie.
Eureka - What I like about eureka is that by the time they ended it, I was like, "yeah it's time to end this, the dumb sheriff and accidental evil scientist of the week is getting a little played out". Most of the time, I'm pissed when they end a series I really like.
South Park
Futurama
Babylon 5
Wharehouse 13
Xena - Hercules was allright, but the xena spinoff was where they really hit their stride.

Honorable mentions to
Dr Who
Upright Citizens Brigade - I think this is the best sketch comedy show that's ever been. Though it's close to chappelle. They're both only honorable mentions because they didn't last long.
BSG - this one is kinda cheating because I'm including the original series and the new one. Heck, throw in caprica too. Watching that now on netflix and it's pretty fucking awesome.
Aqua teen whatever whatever - I'd probably like them better if they stopped changing the name and fucking up my DVR setup.
First wave - Didn't last long enough to make the top 10, but I liked it a lot.
Farscape - Only missed out on the top 10 because I didn't like it at first, and got back into it a couple years in.
Pinky and the brain - Barely remember most of them. There must have been like 10 episodes.
Boondocks - What was it, 3 years between seasons? This last season also hasn't been as strong as the ones that came before.

I tended to stay away from shows currently running. I expect shows like Vikings will be up there once it's been around for a few seasons. Marvel might make it too. But they're not there yet.

I meant the one in the show. I'm not married.
