Yeah I'm not even saying it's likely he gets moved, he could cool off and decide he wants to come back tomorrow for all we know. But if they decide fuck it, full rebuild, they could cut David Johnson for $6M, cut Brandin Cooks for another $12M, and just go cheap on replacements. Right now they have 8 picks in the Draft, but 7 of them are Round 4 or later, and their highest pick is a 3rd. Most of those picks are going to be very cheap to sign, and if they really had to, they could even trade out of some of those picks to acquire even more future picks.
This year is the only year that the dead cap hit exceeds the cap savings on Watson's contract, since his cap hit for this year is actually just under $16M, but next year jumps up to a $40M cap hit. But to think it's completely impossible is nuts, they aren't even close to being in the worst spot cap wise compared to teams like the Saints and Eagles.
