I'm not sure why you would every want to socket a non diamond in anything but helms. They have like six times the itemization points. Any given item can roll like 600 mainstat or vitality, but a max of 100 allres. Diamonds give allres at a 1:1 ratio to main stat.

Yes, they are primary/secondary but they can't both be on the same item with the exception of some legendaries. Take any rare with allres or a single resist to the mystic and click the ? to see possible affixes. If its got allres, the single resists won't show up and vice versa.

It's all Holy damage now, even the non-DoT portion. If you use LTK, then stacking lightning damage is probably better than holy damage, but just sweeping wind isn't enough. If you're not using LTK then you want to stack holy damage whether or not you have Thunderfury.
