    Cyberpunk 2077

nah, all it reminds me of is No Mans Sky, which I did pay about $10 for, which did turn out to be an okay game. I still 100% stand by this turning out to be GTA 2077. Sure there might be a couple hours of heavy story at the start, but the game is going to open up and be just like GTA. Drive...

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

Horizons Empire of Istaria was like this. Crafting was a community effort and it unlock new cities, places to grind, and paths to new areas. Everyone would work together to add what they could to community projects and it changed the world for the better.

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

There is no point in making a p99 clone. In my other post I pointed out why, people aren't going to leave p99 to play p99 with a monthly fee. Having Instancing doesn't make a game WoW. WoW is quest based, dungeon crawling. They have already said camping will be the main focus of N. They have...

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

That's no fun. Things like this should always favor a PC doing it over an NPC. An NPC doing it for you should be your last option. Reputation/Race should play a role in every interaction with a NPC, not just if they want to kill you or not. Also Money sinks are good.

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

Master Magical Guild NPCs in towns should beadle to port players to other towns, as well as bind characters. This always seemed weird to me that they didn't. Don't get me wrong the ports would cost a lot of money ( like 5pp (base) at level 1 in EQ ) to the point that you would think twice about...

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

The more that I think about it, the more that I think New World and Fallout76 have an almost perfect system that fixes most of this. The system where anyone can tap a mob regardless of being in a group or not. Loot is personal. Loot has different random rolls +0-10str, +damage to plants, etc...

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

This is going to be their #1 biggest issue to deal with. I don't think this game will draw the amount of players that most here think it will. Population wise, It will be along the lines of Project Gordon, around 120 active plays online at any given time. People from places like p99 aren't going...

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

If Project Gorgon, two dudes, can do it. I don't see why these guys can't. The only problem with being to niche of a game, in group based gaming, is that there will be nobody around to group with, which I'm sure they have thought about. Project Gorgon has about 120 active users a day.

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

Camping and killing the same re-spawns a million times over to grind exp or killing a place holder a million times to get a named mob to spawn, for X item, is just as crappy a system as running the same static instanced dungeon 100+ times over to grind loot or exp. At that point there is no...

Also, raiding, does game like this " A focus on scheduled and ever-changing content & NPC behaviors " need raiding. I don't think so. Not at the start anyway. Maybe later when the game matures, and still, if the game is " ever-changing content " and the focus is on Adventuring than raiding isn't...

Monsters and Memories (Project_N) - Old School Indie MMO

If the game is about " Adventuring is at the heart of the game " then camping shouldn't be a thing. Random events should happen while groups are out adventuring. Rare mobs should not just spawn in on a place holder, in a static " camp " spot, they should be triggered by doing a task. Kill X...

    Cyberpunk 2077

I think a lot of people are going to be looking forward to collecting, stealing, buying, racing, painting, and modifying cars. How many story missions will be tied into driving and shooting from the cars. I think a lot. Robbing tech, banks, and the like, mission. The map looks like a GTA map to...

    Cyberpunk 2077

Yep. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it being a GTA 2077 with a deeper character development, set in a cyberpunk world, and more than one option/way to complete story missions. This is exactly what the game sounds like it's going to be, GTA 2077, and it will be a game of the year.

    Cyberpunk 2077

GTA 2077, anyone who says otherwise is a fool, blinded by fanboyism. It's not like it being a GTA type game is a bad thing, clearly people like those types of games. If this wasn't from CD Projekt Red nobody would question it.

They should 100% go with the p2w approach and have a real money auction house like Diablo 3 had. Clearly most people don't care about RMT anymore, take EQ for example, with the Korno stuff, buying bags, and buff pots, and WoW with the, whatever it's called, Tokens.

Which computer chair do you use? Needs to be poopsock viable

Yep, the idiot took the legs off the chair and replaced them with wheels for whatever reason. my arm is almost completely straight with the legs on my chair. I also have chair gliders on the legs of my chair, which increases the height a little and lets it slide in and out really easily on a...

Which computer chair do you use? Needs to be poopsock viable

My desk is not up against a wall, and my recliner is the smaller type, doesn't have the big fluffy armrests. my desk is the T type. I can sit 90 degrees in my recliner if i wanted, but is usually keep it at 140.

Which computer chair do you use? Needs to be poopsock viable

It sounds like anyone who plays games for a long period of time would want to do, the poopsocking. Putting your feet/legs up, sitting in a recline, is more comfortable, and easier on the body than sitting at a 90-degree angle for along periods of time. Sitting at 90-degrees, for hours on end...

My small recliner slides under my desk just fine. It works 100% fine with mouse and keyboard, since they are still on my desk. Which computer chair do you use? Needs to be poopsock viable

I don't understand the need for a computer/office chair. You are in your home, not at work, just go to the furniture store and buy a real chair. One that is comfy enough where you can, game, fall asleep, wake up, game, repeat. Do you really need wheels and movement? I find the movement, and...

    New World

That is the main issue with the current system it was designed for PvP, not PvE. Once a good amount of players get to t3, t4, crafting things will quickly turn into a shit fest. Like everything else in the game, all crafting is easy enough to solo. Game is more solo play than group. You can pretty much be a master in all crafts/gathering skills in a short amount of time, a month or so. This is not a game that you are going to want to rush through. Anyone can tag...
