I have a feeling they want to charge player real $$$ for the convenience stuff later. Like centralize storage/bank, fast travel, lower tax rate etc.

I personally don't think NW is remotely comparable to RIFT. RIFT launch remains as one of the smoothest. It's a well define PvE focus MMO, comes with 10 dungeons (standard AND expert mode for max level). And guess what, It also has raid at launch. WAR at launch has open world RvR, sure it had...

Actually GW2 legendary weapons/gears (requires tons of farming) do look awesome, and the game does has a cosmetic shop. I think its one of the very very few MMOs who has a great balance.

It depends, if you like 5-man pve contents, crafting, or structured pvp, then yes they are in the game.

That's just my definition of PvE endgame. I even state 'personally', If you think fishing to 200 is endgame to you, or 5-man contents. Totally fine by me.

Personally, PvE endgame means raiding (which requires at least 4 groups to complete), So if those high level open world elite area doesn't require multi-groups to complete, then it is just normal group content to me. PvP endgame to me should either be massive open world system such as RvR(WAR)...

The current state reminds me a little bit of Vanguard. The early / mid game are great. After that, mostly unfinished / bugged / super-repetitive.
