First, I said above that the Pro Bowl is an absolute joke. And it is. So I could really care less about him being in it. I don't watch the Pro Bowl. Ever. On top of that, I think it's just an extra game to potentially get hurt in. Fuck that.
As far as Luck goes...seriously? Dude didn't stand a shot at the Pro Bowl. Manning and Brady were locks. Luck has thrown 3 less interceptions than touchdowns. If you include rushing and fumbling, he's at 26 touchdowns to 23 turnovers. Pro Bowl? Ok. Maybe after Schaub, Dalton, and Flacco.

Can't take a joke? I would have been happy with 8-8 this year, which I've said all along. Everything beyond that now is a bonus. It's a little early to write his career off when he's missed one start and it was a game in which he wanted to play in, but haters going to hate. I still don't think we're as good a team overall as the Ravens, though I feel like we have just as much chance to win a game or two in the playoffs as you all have. I doubt either team will go too far though, injuries and flaws would be their undoing against any of the really good teams. Although you might have an easier time in Round 1 as a #4 seed against the Colts than we would against Seattle's D. Of course we still need to beat Dallas to get in.
I keep pondering the idea of the swap of kickoffs for starting on your own 30 yard line 4th and 15. Let's say we're under the 4th and 15 rule and some team like Cleveland comes back from 28 points down in the 4th quarter with 5 minutes left to beat the Cowboys because 4th and 15 is a HELL of a lot easier to overcome than hoping for onside kick after onside kick...

How was that one dumb? Part of the argument FOR the 4th and 15 thing was because onside kicks are almost pointless now, it *would* make for more comeback opportunities.

It's not really a rivalry, Baltimore's been a better organization for 10+ years now. When you only play every 4 years it's hard to really develop a rivalry. Most Skins fans I know (myself included) mainly just can't stand the 90% of Ravens fans that act like they are the elite of the elite in the league and are either too young to know or pretend like we never won anything. The majority of my friends are Ravens fans and most of them I can stand because they actually know their shit. I really can't even say I dislike their actual team that much.
