The thing is, these guys are fucking monsters. Coming at each other full-force. Injuries are inevitable. That's why they get paid millions of dollars. Sure, stop the stuff that is completely blatant, fine for it, suspend, etc. The rest of it? Comes with the fucking territory. NFL players know exactly what they are signing up for.Funny thing is I heard Harrison talking recently about how he lowered his hitting point so he would stop getting fined and he brought up a good point. He said in general is that these hits come with the game, and whether I go up high and they get a concussion or I go low and I blow out some guys knee either way it could be a career ending injuring. Thought it was kind of interesting coming from someone who was fined so much for his hits.
Couldn't agree more. It would be like a cop being upset that people are shooting at them. Comes with the job.The thing is, these guys are fucking monsters. Coming at each other full-force. Injuries are inevitable. That's why they get paid millions of dollars. Sure, stop the stuff that is completely blatant, fine for it, suspend, etc. The rest of it? Comes with the fucking territory. I've seen RG3 Skins jerseys at recent Dallas home games. No surprise on that map.America's Team!

Oh, and I should point out Texas is 55/45 split.
They don't get paid millions of dollars because of high injury-risk, they get paid millions of dollars because of their talent. Which they can't utilize if they get injured. That's why the NFL wants to avoid these injuries, they don't want to pay millions to a player who gets knocked out of games. The thing is, these guys are fucking monsters. Coming at each other full-force. Injuries are inevitable. That's why they get paid millions of dollars.
Well Mark Sanchez at 6'2 had a whole bunch knocked down. He isn't as good of a QB as Brees and can adjust to being that short with arm strength talent and all that other stuff. A short QB can find ways to have less passes knocked down but will need to do something different than a QB that has more height. How many passes have Wilson and Brees had knocked down, and how does that compare with the rest of the league?
I've heard the term tossed around a lot and in general I think I understand what it means but if you have a professor level of understanding I'm willing to listen and learn. You guys don't seem to be familiar with the concept of passing lanes.
Essentially they split the line in such a way or line them up in such a way where the QB has vision down the field.I've heard the term tossed around a lot and in general I think I understand what it means but if you have a professor level of understanding I'm willing to listen and learn.
Brady has balls batted down weekly, i'd venture to say he's probably top 5 in most batted balls.. ever.but I guarantee you if they were Brady height they would have less knocked down passes
I don't like to be a grammar Nazi but I've seen a few people make this mistake.this point is mute.
Yeah but most of his passes are 3-12 yards over the middle of the field.Brady has balls batted down weekly, i'd venture to say he's probably top 5 in most batted balls.. ever.
