It' not a conversation you want to have. My splendiferousness may have given many of you a distorted view of just how awesome Steeler fans are. Most of my brethren are awful. Just like every other fanbase. Had you approached the man you would have been subjected to 3 hours of drunken "6 TIME CHAMPS YINZ!".
Freeman's problem was more Raheem Morris and Greg Schiano than Freeman. Freeman's rookie year he blew. His 2nd year he was pretty decent though. Hell they almost made the playoffs. They were doing really good this year until shit unraveled on them but I swear that's more coaching than just saying he's shit for talent.
If you put Freeman with Jim Harbaugh I think he'd do as well or better than Kaepernick. Not knocking Kaep, just saying I don't think Freeman is terribad, at least not until I see him have a decent coach and still suck it hard.
I'm not saying interceptions on rookie's should be overlooked and that they shouldn't be striving to avoid them at all costs but don't you want a rookie QB with the talent of Luck on a team like the Colts to gun sling it and learn from it? If I put on my pseudo Coach hat and think about QB development I might want Luck to be out there slinging it around trying to make shit happen and learn from his mistakes early in his career as opposed to 5 years from now he never tried a throw in a certain situation and doesn't know if he should or not.
The only caveat to that is if it would cost them a playoff spot or if it would knock them out of the playoffs. I'd want him trying to play very meticulous in those situations.

Lets also talk about INT's who has them and who has the most.
The problem with stats is just that, they are stats...you can look at them whatever way you want and use them as you wish to fit your argument. Yes Brees (as well as Luck)is leading in INT's but to say that the other 9 in the top 10 leading in INT's is anywhere near his level would be absurd. I assume with the whole record notion it would be ridiculous for me to think you are talking about how Brees might break 5,000 yards again and be the first QB ever to do it 3 times. I assume you are talking about the Saints probably going down as the worst defense (in yards allowed anyway) in NFL history. Which TBH, I could give a fuck less about, our defense has always sucked and now that they are being called upon to play a real defensive scheme, and they are sucking hard at it. All that being said, I guarantee you that most teams still wouldn't want to face the Saints in the playoffs this year if they were in.
What NFC team in the playoffs wouldn't want to face the Saints? Maybe the Vikings? I think every other team would be more than happy to play them.

By that logic, you'd advocate for pre-Wade Shaub for the FF stats and The Sanchize for the playoffs. I don't care about the former, and I would take my chances with Brees > the field for the playoffs.
That's bullshit. The defense has sucked balls a LOT this year but they've gone on some stretches where they don't allow jack. If the D could put an extra quarter or 2 together to make a whole game they'd be on par with the offense and the offense wouldn't be forced to chuck the ball up into bad situations.

How far are your boys going with his torn tricep? Not very far for all the reasons listed in that article. Fun thing about the 49ers is they weren't going to win it all anyway. Hell, I'll be watching the playoffs more to see which game the 49ers shit themselves than to see who wins it all. My money's on Pete Carrol gettin his swag on.
