If anything the Eagles will be something of an unconventional offense. I read somewhere that Kelly does a lot of "analytics" type moves, like going for it on 4th down, even when conventional wisdom says it's not worth it.

Well Dallas is fucked. If Monte proved anything at USC, it is he has no fucking clue how to stop the blur offense.
Maybe, but a healthy Sean Lee and Bruce Carter will help a ton vs RG3/McCoy/whoever Kelly gets to QB. He never had a Sean Lee type talent making defensive calls on the field at USC.

He didn't have talent at US fucking C? Are you just a parody of yourself now?

Yep, the school that has the most players currently playing in the NFL is totally devoid of talent which is why Kiffin failed so hard this year.............

The team that got hit with sanctions and scholarship loss?

I didn't say he didn't have talent, I said he didn't have a Sean Lee level talent at mike, don't put words in my mouth.

Cushing, Matthews, Mauluga aren't at USC anymore. Pretty sure one of his starters at USC already washed out with the Colts this year

The two OLBs Dion Bailey and Hayes Pullard will be playing on Sundays, Lamar Dawson is still a question mark but he's no slouch. The biggest drop-off over the last couple of years has been the front 4, not the back 7.

Just because USC has only 15 vs. 25 scholarships doesn't mean it's 15 shit kids being recruited.

Not that it matters anymore but Todd McNair isn't settling with the NCAA and when his case finally goes to court it's going to show pretty pathetically that the NCAA didn't care about the evidence and just wanted to nail USC. I'm still guessing U of Miami will get off lighter than we did with only a program harboring a child molestor being worse.

Have a feeling Kelly will pull a Saban in a year or two and be back in the land of "the Coach really has control of team".
i've always wondered how first-time NFL coaches sell themselves regarding drafting/managing professional athletes. Are they just ball washing?

They still need to evaluate talent when they're recruiting high school players. And the GM is going to do most of the personnel moves/draft anyway.

I don't understand why Jacksonville doesn't just snatch him up. At this rate Tebow will be near retirement before the Jags snatch him up and then no one in Jacksonville will even give a fuck.

Jags need to find a coach that will actually take Tebow and just use him as he is. Build a great defense around him, power OL, then just battering ram the ball down opponents throats with a full stadium. They'd save SOOO much money paying Tebow and WR's they could make the D/OL stout as hell. MJknee has a couple years left before they need to replace him...

Rumor that Dallas is interviewing Houston Nutt, I'm guessing for OC? I would say I was gonna jump off a cliff but I think the team bus drove off it a while back.

Gus Bradley to the Jags. Good for them. I wanted him in Philly. I bet he's the guy to turn them around.

Tebow is pretty quick... Surprised no one has said it yet, but... Tebow to Philly to run the NFL/Oregon hybrid? It could work

Tebow just sucks at passing and isnt that great at running. You'd be out of your mind to build any kind of gameplan around him.

If Cam Newton can't consistantly get it done, why would anyone assume Tebow can?
I think Cam has flaws but he's had some really shitty coaches so far imo and the gm... Deangelo Williams shit all over that franchise with that new contract soaking up cap space. They're probably still paying millions/year to Choke Delhomme. Cam needs a good OC and some sort of functional defense would help him a lot also.

I'm not ready to say he's a turd. I think Cam has a lot more potential than RGKnee, especially at this point. Even if Cam never ran the ball he has the potential to be a pretty good pocket passer but he looks durable enough to run so far.
