That always comes into play. I'd probably give the edge to Brady, but I think many of Manning's miscues stem from the pressure of constantly carrying an average team with average coaching. Manning on the Patriots probably nets him 3 rings, and Brady on the Colts probably gets him 1. As good as Brady is (maybe the best), no question he has had the better coach, the better defense, and the better running game - even seasons when the latter two for both teams could be considered average at best.

Not sure where they other two came from, but I made a few posts at the start of this season in the FoH thread. I've been a Denver fan since I was about eight years old. Just never posted in the NFL threads on FoH when I first joined back in 08. I definitely wasn't going to post shit last season >.>

I've been a "Donkey" fan since I was 7 years old myself. Been through the highs and lows of the last 30 years. I am loyal through thick and thin to my squad! I only was a long time lurker on FOH boards though.

And as long as I'm sucking Manning dick, how is AP in anyway more valuable? What's so valuable about going from a top 10 pick to a top 15 pick? They aren't winning anything. He's the offensive player of the year, that's why that award exist, he is not more valuable to a team than Peyton Manning, that's absurd.

The problem with this is how does an RB EVER compare to a QB if you can so easily dismiss their value? Unfortunately I can't even argue that you're wrong but it "feels" wrong.

AP for OPOTY probably is the best bet.

Feels wrong but that's the nature of the beast. It's a reason why franchises gamble on QBs so often in the first round. AP is one of a kind and maybe if Tom Brady and Peyton Manning didn't exist, he might pull an MVP out of his ass this year

Just curious, if aldon smith breaks the sack record(20 sacks with 3 weeks to go) does he get DPOTY? I would think he does but watt does have a ridiculous amount of passes defended + sacks, so i could see it go either way.

I get the whole QB thing as I mentioned it too. But I also said if vikes make playoffs AP gets MVP. Why? Because he's doing it from a limited position and no QB play. Manning and Brady can still hand the ball off. Vikes have 1 option and every team game plans that option. AP MVP

I'm glad I'm not alone thinking Aldon Smith sure as hell doesn't deserve the sack record. He was gift wrapped a lot of sacks from shitty OL's and teams playing from way behind with no choice but to pass. He obviously doesn't suck. I'd love to have him on my team but I just can't respect an OLB holding the record the same way I can respect a pure DE holding it...
