Insane that Washington/Dallas control their destiny this late. Not going to spend all week getting hyped up though - been watching Dallas too long. Spending the week in WV as well, and I doubt I'll get the coverage there I would here. Thankfully.

No, you specifically said the Seahawks needed a minimum of 11-5 and maybe even 12-4 to reach the playoffs not a "really good record". Had you said that, Adam12 wouldn't of needed to question the absurdity in week 7 of saying that a 10-6 team couldn't make the wildcard. Incidentally, attached below are the current projections for the playoffs this year (the criteria for future games is the team with the best current record wins). While the Seahawks may end up 11-5, they are favorites to enter the wildcard slot at 10-6 is the case for most of the teams making the wildcard slots this year. As far as effort went, searching google cache is trivial, so all I had to do was search the fires of heaven site for "azeth" "nfl" "idiot" and then use notepad++ to programatically insert the tags.

That's a really tough call. I think I'd have to go with Cutler. The team around Flacco is better than the team around Cutler - specifically the O-line. Give Cutler the Ravens O-line, Torrey Smith and Anquan Boldin as receivers and Ray Rice in the backfield and I think the offense would be better than it is now.

I think they are pretty similar. Mostly statues. Massive deep ball arms. Totally inconsistent. Plagued by bad lines. (Our line isn't that good, but the Bears is probably worse.) Mediocre to outright bad pocket awareness. Turnover prone. And just generally prone to boneheadedness. Cutler seems like a giant douche off the field though, Joe seems like a genuinely nice guy. Cutler sulks, Flacco just looks like he doesn't care. I know they both do care but impressions mean a lot at QB, especially when they/the team is struggling.

I posted in the thread about it that I was jaded and didn't give two shits. But during the moment of silence today it was a bit emotional. Not as emotional as my hatred for Harbaugh and Flacco, but a bit emotional.

He should be in the discussion, but I don't think he should be ROTY. Being a Skins homer I think RG3 should be the guy, but the reason beyond when they were drafted is Wilson took over a much better team than either RG3 or Luck did. Luck had the benefit of playing the 2nd easiest schedule in the league prior to this week's game, which was a real test that they lost. Honestly all 3 of the guys have a case, but looking at the D RG3 has had to deal with all year, strength of schedule, and hell even the Fail Mary play I think Luck and RG3 are slightly ahead of Wilson, with RG3 the best choice by a tiny bit.
