When the receivers decide to actually catch the ball like yesterday you lose that excuse. They really need to open it up some more and vary the run game.
So I dunno if you guys talked about this during the game yesterday, but that was a lot more Demarco Murray ass than I had planned to see yesterday. In fact multiple Cowboys need to get pants that fit better, there was manass all over the place.

He should call himself out for that throw in OT. Not the best route but he threw well behind his guy which helped the pick to happen. No idea if it was the certain plays that resulted in the asstastic protection they had called on the 2 consecutive sacks that killed them right after they had gotten the 15 yards roughing the passer tacked onto a first down completion. I thought it was done and done after they got the ball advanced up near midfield.

How does Mike McCarthy justify keeping Mason Crosby as the kicker at this point? The guy is 17-of-29. The only thing that I can think of is that they must be secret gay lovers.
I was pretty much screaming at my tv yesterday when they didn't go for it on 4th and 1 and instead let Mason come out and boom one 20 yards outside of the post, and I think it was from the 43.
I hear David Akers is almost as bad in San Fran though, so someone else knows this pain too.

Kickers are nuts. Akers was so money last year, started off this year with tying an NFL record 63 yarder, and has been total dogshit since and cost his team two games.

The Ben looked pretty unhappy almost the whole night. If he's really that pissed about the playcalling it might just be that.

Maybe there was a local high school girls volleyball game he needed to hit.
After watching the Pats/9ers game, not sure I can stomach tonight's game.

I hope this Steelers drama affects performance on the field come Sunday. It's put up or shut up time for Marvin Lewis. The team has the talent and has been playing better than the Steelers for the majority of the season. After winning five of the past six I'll be heartbroken if we miss playoffs. Normally I wouldn't be affected by this, but this year feels different.
