Going with the Ray Lewis theme on Friday here...

The NFL submitted a new proposal on testing for human growth hormone to the players union on April 24, according to an NFL.com report.

NFL.com, citing league and union sources, reports the latest proposal removed the prospect of game-day testing, but called for testing to start immediately.
A union source told NFL.com that the union would prefer to delay taking samples until a baseline is established first.

Lol yeah, "establish a baseline". Give the players enough time to stop using it before the testing, gg.

I'm not even sure why the NFL bothers to negotiate PED testing with the union. Force it on them...the players have a losing hand from the beginning. Fans, Congress, etc. do not want to hear it on this subject. There's nothing the players can say that will garner sympathy for their position.

I think PEDs shouldn't be illegal, they should be mandatory. I'm bored with the game how it is, I want to see super-sized humans with Olympic sprinter speed crashing headlong into each other and 6 more TDs per game.

Speaking of the Olympics, make PEDs mandatory there, too. It might give synchronized swimming the boost it's always needed.

Mike Wallace can say nothing without making himself look like a jackass. He's now saying the people in Pittsburgh weren't hungry. Lol.

I wonder if he can look himself in the mirror with a straight face and say that. If anyone displayed what he is talking about, it was him. He was a no show all season, and will be the next in the long line of Steelers who left for greener pastures in some craptastic pro sports city like Miami who will fade away into obscurity.
