I wonder if he can look himself in the mirror with a straight face and say that. If anyone displayed what he is talking about, it was him. He was a no show all season, and will be the next in the long line of Steelers who left for greener pastures in some craptastic pro sports city like Miami who will fade away into obscurity.

As a Dolphins fan I can confirm that Miami is not a very good sports city.

It is a great Super Bowl hosting city, though. (The 3.5 hours watching a game in a crappy stadium is vastly overshadowed by the time before and after that involves nice weather, great nightlife, and beautiful women from all over the world).

I don't think I've paid more than $200 for it and usually less depending on if I want to call them and get a discount or not.

I wonder how long the trial is. Still have to pony up the $$ for ticket regardless after that trial so you really aren't getting much unless you get the half season rate or something. I doubt the trial is that long.

I read that as the length of the season and not the length of the trial. If they give the entire season away its not really a trial is it? I'd think if that was the case you wouldn't say trial and say "buying this pos game will get you a FREE SEASON OF NFL SUNDAY TICKET". Why mention a trial unless its only part of the season?

I'm a little confused. It says for first time subscribers, which is essentially what DirecTV offers to any first time subscribers (I was able to get new DirecTV service under my wife's name and got Sunday Ticket free last year -- had previously had Sunday Ticket the last 4-5 seasons I think). Not sure about the $10 off per month part, but I seem to recall getting that too. So basically you're paying $100 for Madden and getting free mobile Sunday Ticket. But the DirecTV stuff is their normal offer, or was last year that is.

Sunday ticket is still free for a year for new customers. Unless they mean for first time Sunday Ticket subscribers....which would be the only way the whole offer isn't garbage.

There's a whole bunch of wording I don't get, some places it sounds like you'd have to subscribe to DTV if its available but if your area doesn't have itthenyou get the computer/mobile/tablet only version...

I think Miami & Tampa Bay fanbases suffer because there are so many transplants in Florida. Folks retire down there and move down there to escape cold weather. Those aren't fans, they're residents.

MMA-TV is $10 every 6 weeks or so for Sunday Ticket. Can stream from mobile device or computer and it's 720p-ish. It's 2000KB/s or 3000KB/s bitrate, can't remember. Lot cheaper than cable/Directv or the Madden deal, unless you were going to buy the game anyway.

Florida is not my state and it really doesn't flatter me at all that a Patriots fan is thinking about the Dolphins.

Might go with MMA TV and stream it to my private livestream channel this season if people are interested. But you'd be force to watch mostly Miami and AFC east action.
