Better to poll which team's Offensive Line and (to a lesser extent) Defense you'd rather have, because that's pretty much what it comes down to.we havent talked about tony romo for a few hours, life just doesnt feel complete
so ...

a poll amongst dallas fans has flacco losing by 1% in discussion as to which QB they would prefer.
Tony Romo 50.64%
Joe Flacco 49.36%
I was keeping it contained with the regular season thread, blame Arayasar.didn't the Cowboys season end like 2 months ago?
You'd still be pretty happy with the season overall though even if you lost the Super Bowl right?Confirmed scared to death. Keep hoping.
Hard not to be. I was originally saying I'd be happy just winning that wild card game at home. Each win has made the promised land seem more and more realistic though so obviously I'm not going into this feeling like "oh well we will probably lose, but what a year!" Definitely have hope for more good seasons now, assuming some good drafting and if cap management doesn't become too much of an issue. You'd still be pretty happy with the season overall though even if you lost the Super Bowl right?
This does not compute with me. And I don'tthinkit's a spoiled fan thing really. I mean, I'm "happy" with every season, because it's the NFL and I just enjoy the game and all the trappings. But if my team is good enough to make the big game there's no happy after they lose it. I'm happy they got there and all, but not happy with the season. If that makes any sense...I dunno. '10 when the Packers beat the Steelers I enjoyed the season, but I hate settling for less than winning that last game. Just a sense of what could have been I guess. Or maybe I'm crazy, this all made more sense in my head before I started typing. You'd still be pretty happy with the season overall though even if you lost the Super Bowl right?
A number of studies have shown in the Olympics that during the ceremony, the person who wins 2nd is sadder than the person who wins 3rd by a significant P-value. So yeah, its a psychological thing. This does not compute with me. And I don'tthinkit's a spoiled fan thing really. I don't mean right after the game. If you get to the Super Bowl you are going to be pissed/disappointed if you lose the game. When you're right there, you want to win it. I mean 4-6 months later looking back on the year and where you realistically thought your team would have finished (and probably still would have with a few PI calls and Rahim Moore not forgetting how to play football). This does not compute with me. Just be a Houston sports fan. When the team is finally good enough to make the playoffs, you can be happy with the inevitable playoff loss because hey, the team was finally good enough to make the playoffs! That's just it though, I don't look back on 2010 any differently than any other year that my team didn't win the Super Bowl. Only 1 team wins every year, every other team loses. I get feeling hopeful for franchises that have been perennially bad for ages like the Browns or Cowboys. I just don't think fans of any team that expects to make the playoffs can feel like a year wasn't somewhat wasted without a title. I don't even mean teams that win all the time like New England or Baltimore. Even the Bengals fans should be a bit let down next year when they don't pull it off.
The Ravens are not going to lose, so it's kind of a moot point. You'd still be pretty happy with the season overall though even if you lost the Super Bowl right?
And last year that was the Indianapolis Colts.Only 1 fan base is totally satisfied at the end of the year, though.
